Woven from durable resin fibers with reinforced steel cores, the wicker is designed to withstand the elements and remain durable. The teak slats which adorn the bar top in a ribbed design are close enough together to provide a smooth, even surface so dishes won’t tilt off balance and far enough apart to let rain water fall through and dry out. The teak is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to be harvested from a well-managed, sustainable forest. Teak can be oiled occasionally to maintain its finish, but it does not require it. Left untreated, teak weathers to a handsome gray over time.
